Measuring my Insanity-level

Loneliness can never kill me, it can only devour my sanity. 
It may not only destroy my body, but may also shatter my soul.

Happiness seems to be so out of reach for me tonight, as this lonesomeness makes me cry. 
Amid this solitary night, I sang my own story of plight. 

My heart aches, my soul waivers, my mind stares in void,
my body frozen,
With only my spirit still alive, I hope to endure with my own votive.

How I yearn for tenderness, for a simple gesture of love, 
but all I see is a mirror, reflecting my swollen eyes.

Damn my weakness, damn it all. 
All I see is a girl I knew no more.

Now is the time to end this pantomime.
So as to stop my crime, and make everything back to sublime. 

I beckon my courage, I convene my strength,
I summon you to make me smile, 
for the sake of my sanity, oh so fragile.
